AUGUST NEWSLETTER 2020
Hi everyone. I hope that as you read this article, you are doing well. During these times it can be difficult to stay connected to each other and to God. We find ourselves feeling so many different emotions in such a short period of time, that we are exhausted. I encourage you to stay as connected to each other as you can. Also, connect to God. Now is the perfect time to spend time with God. Spend time reading scriptures, praying and listening. So many times we want to feel God’s presence but we feel distant and then later, we realize that God has been present with us the whole time. Genesis 28:15 reminds us that God is present with us it says, “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” This verse is also a call for us to be present with each other. As I said on Sunday, we are here to help each other because we are all part of God’s family and we are all family to each other. That also means it important for us to build and strengthen our relationship with God, so we can be present for and with each other. Find a good place and time of the day for your quiet time with God, you will be blessed and you will be a blessing to each other. Take care, Pastor Joey

Mission Chatter
Muffins are on hold—–hope they don’t get old!!

In order for Church to open, with many new changes, to protect us from the coronavirus, we need to get some sanitizer dispensers, sanitizer liquid, masks, and shields. The Memorial Committee will be purchasing the sanitizer dispensers and the Mission Committee will be purchasing the other supplies.
You, the members of the Church, have supported us above and beyond and we cannot THANK YOU ENOUGH! We try to be Good Shepherds and use your generous donations as you would. It was the feeling of the committee that purchasing the sanitizer liquid, masks, and shields would meet with your approval.
Again…..THANK YOU.
